This "Reducing" adapter is designed to connect a 20 mm (¾ inch) CPVC pipe directly to a 15 mm (½ inch) female-threaded component, such as a standard plastic tap, shower head, or small valve. It features a larger 20 mm plain socket on one end for a permanent solvent-weld connection to the pipe and smaller 15 mm external (male) plastic threads on the other.By combining the functions of a reducer and an adapter into a single piece, it eliminates the need for an extra reducer coupler, making the plumbing layout cleaner and more compact. Manufactured from high-performance CPVC, it is fully optimized for hot and cold potable water and is completely immune to corrosion, scaling, and the electrolysis issues common in metal-to-plastic joints.
